DataNovata & Cloud Computing

Many organisations are taking advantage of Cloud Computing as a means of storing large amounts of data. Cloud Computing can be a particularly cost-effective way of keeping archived data from decommissioned applications.

DataNovata can access such data as easily as if it was stored on your own hardware. Written entirely in Java, the DataNovata Runtime System – while running within your own infrastructure - can access data held in the Cloud using the appropriate protocols.

Alternatively, DataNovata can itself be run "in the cloud", making Cloud-based data accessible from any computer with internet access and potentially allowing access by persons outside your own organisation (subject to security of course, which is fully configurable using DataNovata).

So however you want to store your data, DataNovata provides a cost-effective means to access it wherever you are.
